Bibimbap Recipe

  • 4 eggs

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Rinse the bean sprouts and blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. Blanch the sliced carrots in boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  4. Sauté the sliced mushrooms with a pinch of salt until they are cooked through. Drain and set aside.
  5. Blanch the sliced spinach in boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  6. Season the beef or chicken with sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, and vinegar. Cook in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through.
  7. Fry the eggs in a separate skillet.
  8. To assemble the bibimbap, divide the cooked rice into four bowls. Arrange the cooked bean sprouts, carrots, cucumbers, mushrooms, spinach, and meat on top of the rice.
  9. Top each bowl with a fried egg.
  10. Mix the gochujang paste with a tablespoon of water to make it easier to spread. Drizzle the sauce over the top of each bowl.
  11. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top of each bowl and serve.
